Lynda Reier has lived in the Waterloo Region all of her life. She is passionate about teaching and learning. She was a teacher and administrator for 31 years with the Waterloo Region District School Board. Her love of learning continues as she is involved in a number of book clubs and courses. She is actively involved in her church and community. She is a proud mother of two adult children and spoils her grand daughter who is the “light of her life”. Spending time out in nature is life giving. She enjoys going on wild flower walks, hiking and discovering new places.
Since her single lung transplant, Lynda is doing what she can to promote organ donation and transplantation. She is a volunteer with Life Donation Awareness Association of Midwestern Ontario. She wants to encourage as many people as possible to register their intent to be an organ donor. She looks forward to sharing her story with you.
